I’VE SPENT A couple hours in Peace with Holland, talking about the exhibition details and showing him more of my portfolio on Jase’s spare computer. He’s loaned it to me, and I brought it with me to show Birdie the shots. I didn’t think to bring mine out with me from Dallas, since I thought it would be a relatively short stay.

I also had a few ideas for something I want to ask the guys about, and now, with the possibility of a column in the local paper, it may come to fruition. Before it, was just an idea, but now, it could be a reality.

Jase stayed for lunch and listened to Holland’s ideas for the exhibition. I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face, either.

I want to show Holland some of Jase’s images and let him think they are mine. I know he will love them, and then I will tell him they are Jase’s. I hope I can surprise him with his own part of the exhibition. I don’t mind sharing.

This is a really big deal for me. I hadn’t realized until Holland started talking to me about my exhibition how sought after space in his gallery is, and I have a three day exhibition planned to show my work and to have limited editions auctioned off. I have sold my work back in Dallas, but to have Holland’s gallery supporting my work is huge.

We discussed a period during the week before Thanksgiving, which gives me enough time to put my best pieces forward to be exhibited. I can’t wait to watch Holland in his own work environment.

Jase went back to The Cage after lunch, and I made it home to Harley’s when an idea hit me. I could probably get some wicked images tonight and go check in on Ajax and Hope at the same time.

I really do need to think about getting myself a car while I’m here so I’m not sponging off Harley. My short visit is definitely turning into a much longer stay. I need work, a car, and to help out at Harley’s place. I know he’ll help me out financially, but I’m determined to pay my way.
